Offering Pediatric Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services

About Mobility Physical Therapy

Mobility Physical Therapy was founded on the principle of maximizing a child’s potential through establishing a therapy-based curriculum within the natural environment of the family and the child.  It utilizes the daily routines of both the child and the family allowing the highest possible therapeutic outcome to be gained for the child. This allows the family and child to be actively engaged in the therapy program utilizing their own natural daily routines.  All services are offered in a nonclinical setting and are done where the child spends their typical day which may include the home, daycare, babysitter’s home, or even meeting at a park or a playground that the family enjoys. This allows the cargivers to be active participants in the child’s care and therapy program rather than just being inactive bystanders who are watching someone else “treat” the child.

Mobility Physical Therapy currently employs a staff of 15 including 13 highly trained and exceptional therapists that are devoted to delivering the highest possible level of care to their patients.  All staff are trained annually on clinical education requirements and uphold all active training Georgia Licensure Requirements.  Mobility Physical Therapy has held a State Contract with the Babies Can’t Wait program since 2001 and offers specific services in 3 different districts, including 6 counties, in the West and Northwest Metro Atlanta area based on therapist availability.  All therapists have been actively trained in Cultural and Health Disparities, Medicare/Medicaid General Compliance,  Security/Cyber Awareness, and also Fraud and Abuse Training.  Mobility Physical Therapy upholds the highest possible standards for its staff and is proud to operate on the highest possible ethical and clinical decision making principles in the industry.

Kris Greer, MPT, Owner/Staff Pediatric Physical Therapist

Kris Greer, MPT, graduated from the College of Saint Catherine University in 1996 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She completed her undergraduate degree in 1992 earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science at St. Cloud University.  She moved after completing her graduate degree in Minneapolis to be with her husband in Georgia.  She began her career at NovaCare Outpatient Rehabilitation Services working as a staff physical therapist and was quickly promoted to clinic manager after one year of employment.  Under her management, her outpatient orthopedic practice grew to be the highest revenue producing clinic throughout the Metro Atlanta area.  Although she loved her patients and the experience she gained working in orthopedics, her love always reflected back to working with children and her desire to work with the pediatric population.  In following her dream, she decided to open her own company in 2001 to allow her to work exclusively in pediatrics.  Mobility Physical Therapy has progressively evolved into a highly respected multi-disciplinary pediatric practice serving the West and Northwest Metro Atlanta areas.  Over the past 17 years, the company has grown into one of the largest pediatric rehabilitation companies in the West Metro Atlanta area offering physical, occupational, feeding and speech language services. All services are based in the natural environment maximizing each child’s potential through working directly with the parents/guardians and focusing on a home therapy approach and training to their curriculum.  Kris Greer, MPT, currently practices alongside her staff and is the sole owner of Mobility Physical Therapy.
